More ENgagement
The KIS Parent Academy is designed to engage parents in
their children's educational journey.
Through workshops and conferences, parents gain valuable insights into the school's teaching methods, curriculum, and how students learn. By understanding the academic environment and strategies, parents can better support their child's development, fostering a strong partnership between home and school. The Academy also provides an opportunity for parents to connect with educators and other parents, strengthening the sense of community at KIS.
workshops
The KIS Parent Academy offers a range of workshops designed to equip parents with the tools and knowledge to support their children’s education and well-being. These sessions cover various aspects of student life, from understanding the curriculum to navigating the challenges of modern parenting. Led by experienced educators and professionals, our workshops offer hands-on activities, informative presentations, and valuable resources to ensure parents feel empowered and informed. Whether exploring educational approaches like the PYP or addressing critical topics such as digital safety, our workshops foster a collaborative environment where parents and educators work together to enhance student success.

CONFERENCES
The three-way conferences, involving students, parents, and teachers, offer a collaborative opportunity to assess student growth. During these sessions, students share their learning experiences, discuss their strengths and areas for improvement, and work together with their parents and teachers to set new goals. This process encourages student agency, voice, and responsibility, empowering them to take an active role in their educational journey. Through meaningful dialogue, the KIS community supports each student's path toward success and development.
