Grade 12 Scientists in Action: Successful IA Research Day

On September 5th, Grade 12 students took part in the annual Science Internal Assessment (IA) Day, a dedicated time for conducting their practical research.

The event provided students with the opportunity to focus fully on their individual investigations, an essential component of the IB Diploma Programme. Supported by their science teachers and the school’s lab technician, students were able to work in a structured environment that encouraged both independence and collaboration.

The day ran smoothly and successfully, with students making significant progress on their projects. From designing experiments to collecting and analyzing data, the IA Day allowed learners to engage in authentic scientific inquiry while receiving the guidance they needed at critical stages.

The success of the day reflects not only the students’ commitment but also the dedication of the science department in providing the resources and support necessary for academic achievement.
