KIS Celebrates International Day 2025

On Saturday, September 20, Kazakhstan International School proudly hosted its annual International Day. The campus came alive with vibrant colors, music, and the spirit of global community as families, students, and staff came together to celebrate diversity and unity.

The event featured cultural booths from countries around the world, offering traditional foods, crafts, and interactive displays that reflected the unique heritage of each community. Performances by students lit up the stage, showcasing music, dance, and storytelling traditions from across the globe.

A highlight of the day was the flag parade, where students proudly carried the flags of their home countries, symbolizing the rich cultural diversity that defines the KIS community.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, a music band brought energy and joy, while children enjoyed games, activities, and the chance to learn more about cultures represented within the KIS community.

Finally, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) organized a special raffle, where families had the chance to win a variety of great prizes.

This year’s International Day not only celebrated cultural diversity but also highlighted the values that make KIS a global community — respect, inclusion, and collaboration. It was a joyful reminder that at KIS, every culture has a place, and every voice contributes to the school’s story.
