Winterfest Brings Joy, Festive Spirit, and Community Connection to KIS

This Saturday, November 29, Kazakhstan International School welcomed families, students, and staff to its much-anticipated annual Winterfest, transforming the campus into a lively celebration of winter magic and community spirit. From 14:00 to 17:00, guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with performances, laughter, and hands-on activities designed to bring everyone together before the holiday season.

One of the standout moments of the event was the enchanting winter show by Apelsinkids, which captivated younger students with its storytelling, music, and vibrant energy. The performance created a delightful atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of the festival.

Throughout the afternoon, families explored a variety of interactive game stations hosted by SuperToy, offering activities for all ages. Among the biggest highlights was the exhilarating Bumper Ball experience, which drew enthusiastic participation from secondary students eager to take on the challenge. Laughter, friendly competition, and excitement filled the field as students bounced, rolled, and raced inside inflatable bumper suits.

Winterfest also provided a meaningful opportunity for families to connect with one another and with the school community. Parents mingled over warm drinks and treats, children enjoyed hands-on fun, and staff members helped facilitate activities, ensuring a welcoming and festive environment for all.

As the event came to a close, it left behind a trail of happy memories and a strong sense of togetherness. Winterfest once again showcased what makes KIS special—a vibrant community, joyful traditions, and experiences that bring learning and celebration to life.
